The Gratt rotary screen delivers effective particle removal, quickly and continuously, even in effluents with a high concentration of solids.
The Gratt Internal Flow Rotary Screen is used in the pre-treatment of industrial effluents and in the capture of water treatment plants, especially in systems with high flow volumes and high concentrations of solids. Promotes solid-liquid separation continuously, quickly and efficiently, protecting pumps, pipes and subsequent equipment, avoiding clogging and operational stops.
Its compact design allows it to occupy up to five times less space than conventional static sieves, in addition to operating with a lower hydraulic liquid outlet height, reducing the need for civil works.
How does it work?
The effluent feeds into an overflow box where its speed is reduced and the flow is evenly distributed. After pouring from the box, the liquid falls onto the rotating basket made entirely of filtering mesh.
The constant rotation of the drum increases the effective filtration area, allowing the treatment of high flow rates. The filtered water passes through the screen and is collected in the lower basin, while the solids remain retained on the surface.
Inside the basket, a screw continually pushes solids to the opposite end of the feed, directing them to a collection hopper for disposal.

Construction
Made entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, it is highly resistant to corrosion and has a long service life. The set consists of an overflow box, a rotating basket with an integral filtering screen body, a lower collection basin, a solids conveyor screw, an internal hygiene system with pressurized spray nozzles, a gear motor and protective covers with an inspection window, meeting safety standards.
Sanitization system
To maintain constant efficiency, the equipment has a self-cleaning system composed of an internal tube with pressurized water spray nozzles, which unclog the filter element holes using fan-shaped jets, ensuring continuous operation.
Automation
The sieve can be automated by a timer, allowing the hygiene system to be activated at predetermined periods, reducing energy consumption, mechanical wear and the need for manual intervention.
