Gratt Young Apprentice Program Opens Doors to the Regional Job Market

The opportunity to start a professional career is priceless!

Young people aged 14 and over and up to 24 years old can join Gratt's Young Apprentice program and take advantage of all the learning and professional growth opportunities while completing their studies. Although the program is a government initiative, most companies do not open up this possibility, as it requires investment to be able to receive and adequately position each young person within the company structure. Currently the greatest demand is for young people between 17 and 18 years old, who begin their professional careers as young apprentices and can then benefit from a regular contract.

In addition to the direct benefits, Gratt's young apprentices have the entire structure and access to the largest regional manufacturing park, with state-of-the-art equipment. When thinking about the metalworking sector and water and wastewater treatment, Gratt is not only a regional reference, but in Latin America.

Erika Bazzo, 16 years old and a young apprentice in the HR sector, tells us what her experience is like:

"Here at Gratt, what I like to do most is serve our employees, because I think it's from them that we learn the most. This experience is helping me grow professionally, whether in learning, communicating better or working as a team. These are things that I will always take into my life."

For Keventi Gabriel Machado Leiria, 17 years old, who works in the machining sector, tells how the program changed his life:

"Here in machining, I work as an assistant on a milling machine. What I really like is seeing the result of my effort, of my work. When I align a part or leave it fixed, I feel like I participated and managed to do my part. The program was a big change in my life, I changed my entire routine to join the company and today I'm here, I did it, and I'm very grateful for this opportunity."

Now for Luiz Valdemar da Silva, 16 years old, from the PCP sector, his report indicates what he has learned from the program:

"My routine is to help with productive resources so that they are used efficiently so that production does not stop at any time. One of the benefits that the Young Apprentice program brought to me was my performance in carrying out short-term tasks without losing quality. I am grateful to the Gratt team who hired me as a young apprentice and provided the SENAI course, where I greatly improved my knowledge."

Gratt currently has young people in the areas of Accounting, Engineering, Shipping, HR, Logistics, PCP, Quality, Safety and Machining.

At Gratt, every young person receives a scholarship and a professional training course from Senai, which is taken in the mornings and in the afternoon they undergo practical learning at Gratt. During the night, regular education continues, for those who have not yet completed it.

If you are young and interested in the program, stay tuned to Gratt's social media (@grattindustria) to find out what's new and when new vacancies open up.
