GRATT STATIC SIEVE

A hydrodynamic sieve or better known as static sieve, differs from other models due to its simplified construction, as it does not have an engine or moving parts it is not necessary to use electrical energy. It is currently one of the most used models, due to the cost versus benefit it provides.
A static sieve It does not have moving components used to clean the grid, which requires special attention from the operator to avoid the accumulation of solid matter on the screen, which would impair filtration. It also does not have a motor, which eliminates electricity costs.
How does it work?
The Gratt Static Sieve does not require a motor to operate, offering the best cost-benefit ratio.
Basically it consists of a INOX with a filter screen of V-shaped wire profiles. At the effluent entrance to the equipment there is an overflow box. This box receives the raw effluent, reduces turbulence and provides the correct flow of liquid, pouring it over the filter element.
The liquid part of the effluent passes through the screen and is captured by a tray positioned at the bottom of the equipment. The solids are retained on the screen, which is constructed with a curvature. This construction detail means that waste is slowly eliminated to the solids chute.
