Mechanical Flocculator for Water and Effluent Treatment!
O GRATT Mechanical Flocculator It is essential equipment in water and effluent treatment processes, responsible for promoting the formation of flakes from the reaction between the effluent and the chemicals used in the process.
Designed to ensure maximum mixing efficiency, the system uses vertical agitators with axial flow vanes, driven by geared motors with speed control via frequency inverter. This allows you to precisely adjust the velocity gradient, taking into account the specific characteristics of each effluent.
O GRATT Mechanical Flocculator guarantees efficiency in effluent conditioning, being a fundamental step for the good performance of subsequent solid-liquid separation processes.
How does it work?
The process occurs in sequential steps, ensuring the correct formation and growth of the flakes:
Initially, the pH of the liquid can be corrected, as required by the process. Then, coagulation occurs, with the addition of coagulants under controlled agitation, promoting the destabilization of the particles.
In the next stage, flocculation takes place, where the flocculant is added and the system operates with slower agitation, allowing the formation of larger and denser flakes, without breaking them.
The flocculator can be divided into two or three chambers, with different agitation regimes, ensuring adequate detention time and better performance in solid-liquid separation.
